Groups

At AFA Church we understand community, connections and growth are important. Our groups are a great way to connect and grow as a disciple of Jesus.

Groups meet at different times during the week and have different focuses. Some groups are about serving, some learning, and others are just for community. Whatever your interests and schedules are, we’re sure you can find a group to fit you.

 

Study Groups

These are groups for those who want to learn more about a topic.

  • Young Adults - Sunday nights at 6:30

  • Awaken Youth - Wednesday nights at 6:30

  • Life Group - Community & Bible Study - 2nd & 3rd & 5th Wednesday nights at 6:30

  • Under 40 - Community & Bible Study - 2nd & 3rd & 5th Wednesday nights at 6:30

Community Groups

This is for groups who share some common interest.

  • Community Night Meal - 1st Wednesday nights of the month at 6:30

  • Men’s Night Ministry & Cornhole - 3rd Tuesday nights at 6:00

  • Women’s Group - events will be posted

  • Worship & Prayer - 4th Wednesday nights at 6:30 (postponed until March)

MINISTRY TEAMS

Service groups serve in different areas in our church and community.

  • Food Bank - Distribution Wednesdays from 5:00 - 6:00 PM. Pickup and prep times weekly
